Hit and Run in Jackson injures three, JPD looking for suspect

The Jackson Police Department is investigating a hit and run accident that occurred on Raymond Rd on Saturday.

Police say that a “dark-colored Pontiac, possibly a G6, with a missing side mirror” entered the center turning lane to pass another vehicle and struck three juvenile males who were standing in the lane. After striking the three victims, the vehicle did not stop.

The ages of the victims are said to be 7,12 and 17 years old. The JPD stated that all three of them were injured, and one of the victim’s injuries are considered “severe”.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information related to the incident is urged to contact the Jackson Police Department.
