CLAIBORNE COUNTY, Miss.–Busting into Adam Gilmore’s house and taking his TV, stereo and cash wasn’t enough for four men in Claiborne County early Monday, apparently. One of the men also shot him with a 12-gauge shotgun when Gilmore walked in on them.
Four men are under arrest, Sheriff Marvin Lucas told media Monday.
The break-in happened early Monday, about 1 o’clock in the morning.
Family members told WLBT that Gilmore was hit in the arm when he raised it so they wouldn’t shoot him in the face. He’s still at UMMC.
The men were expected to be formally charged Tuesday.
