HATTIESBURG, Miss– People are rushing Lowe’s, Walmart, and Home Depot in Hattiesburg searching for blue light bulbs.
And they’ve all sold out.
Batteries Plus Bulbs in Hattiesburg is giving out free light bulbs to anyone who wants one in order to honor the fallen officers. They’ve ran out and had to order 500 more. People are waiting patiently, lined up in and outside the store, reports WDAM.
People have been lighting up blue lights to honor fallen officers Liquori Tate and Benjamin Deen. Officers Tate and Deen were killed Saturday at a traffic stop in Hattiesburg.
Four suspects have been arrested, and police are searching for two more.
