Hundreds Remember Teen Cyclists

JACKSON, Miss. – Along the Mississippi coast hundreds of riders rode in silence to remember Matthew Weede. The route ran from Pass Christian Harbor to Gulfport Harbor.

Weede, a teenager, was killed on June 5, a day after being struck by a driver in George County.

The memorial ride was set-up by The Gulf Coast Bicycle Club, which also honored another cyclist struck June 7, in Biloxi. That man is said to be in critical condition.
