Hunters Discover Bones in Attala County, Could Be a Long Road to Indentity

ATTALA COUNTY, MISS– Hunters found a human skeleton in the woods of Attala County and now agencies are working to figure out the identity.

The hunters found the remains on Saturday and called police. The skeleton was then taken to the State Crime Lab in Jackson in hopes of finding details about what may have happened or who the bones belong to, reports Breezy News.

Today, the skeleton has been moved to Mississippi State University. While it may only take a couple of days to determine the gender, age, and race of the remains, it could take months to determine the identity.
