Hyde-Smith ahead 10 points in bipartisan poll

Cindy Hyde-Smith & Mike Espy

A recent bipartisan poll conducted by RRH Elections with Bold Blue Campaigns and JMC Analytics & Polling says that Mississippi Republican Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith leads former Democrat Representative and USDA Secretary Mike Espy by 10 points.

The survey was conducted November 19-21 and 23-24, 2018 with 684 Live Response calls where 54% of people said they would vote for Hyde-Smith while 44% said they were going to vote for Mike Espy.

Ahead of the President’s visit to Mississippi, Trump received a 56% approval rating.

As part of the poll, participants were asked a question about ballot choices during the general election and 100% of the people polled who voted for State Senator Chris McDaniel said they would be supporting Senator Hyde-Smith. The poll has a +/- 4% margin of error.
