Injured Mississippi Sheriff Doing Better, Expected to Leave Hospital Soon

BYHALIA, Miss.–It was a tough go for Marshall County Sheriff Kenny Dickerson after he was injured in a car wreck Saturday in Byhalia, his deputies told media. But, even though he was critical when he was first taken to the hospital, Dickerson was expected to be out soon.

Dickerson was hurt when his vehicle was hit from the side. He was hit when someone ran a stop sign.

Sunday his condition was upgraded to serious, but WMC TV in Memphis reported that he was doing a lot better and his release was expected soon.
