Inmate Accused of Sending Bomb Threat to Hinds County Judge

JACKSON, Miss. – Federal investigators say an inmate in a prison in Texas mailed a threatening letter to a Hinds County judge Tomie Green.

The man’s name hasn’t been made public.  He also accused of sending a similar letter to another judge in another state.

The letter to Green said explosives had been placed under her home and courtroom.  Authorities searched, but did not find them.

It is expected more charges will be brought against the inmate.
