JACKSON, Miss. — The Mississippi Supreme Court has appointed senior status judge and retired chancery judge Hollis McGehee of Lucedale to hear arguments in the June 24 senate election challenge.
State Senator Chris McDaniel claims there were thousands of irregular votes across Mississippi during the runoff. He wants the judge to declare him the winner or order a new runoff between him and Senator Thad Cochran.
