Judge Says B.B. King Is Not Being Abused

LAS VEGAS, Nev.–Blues legend and Mississippi icon B.B. King is not being abused is the ruling of a judge in Las Vegas after reviewing the findings of two investigations into the goings-on of his long-time manager Laverne Toney.

Toney has power of attorney for King and will remain in control of his affairs and medical care for now.

Three of King’s children tried this week to see their side. They claim Toney has stolen money from King and neglected his health. King is 89 and told fans last week that he is in home hospice care. He may have had a mild heart attack last week and is suffering from complications related to type II diabetes.
