Keeping Your Kids Safe: Molesting Children Gets Choctaw Man 25 Years

CHOCTAW, Miss.–Molesting two children under the age of 12 has gotten Gary Tubby 25 years in the federal pen. The sentence came this week in U.S. District Judge Carlton Reeves’ court. Tubby, 53, will also be on supervised probation for life when he gets out.

The court said Tubby, who is a member of the Miss. Band of Choctaw Indians, molested the children on several occasions and even took pictures of the acts and posted them to the internet.

It happened on tribal lands, making it a federal case, even though the Mississippi Attorney General’s Child Exploitation Task Force investigated the case.
