Keeping Your Kids Safe: 70 Years for Covington County Child Molester

COLLINS, Miss.–Raping two children under 14 years old is why Harold Lindsey, of Covington County, will likely die in prison. He got a 70-year sentence Monday for sexual battery, gratification of lust (essentially a child molestation charge), enticement of a child and forcible rape of a minor.

Lindsey has to serve his 70 years day for day, with no possibility of early release.

He was arrested in March.

“In my opinion it’s horrible and horrific of what Mr. Lindsey has done to children,” said Terry Holbrook, undersheriff of Covington County.
