MERIDIAN, Miss.–Using an app called Grindr to try to lure an underage boy for sex has landed Kevin Winstead, 50, in prison for the next five years. Winstead is one of three people arrested in a string in Lauderdale County, conducted by deputies posing as kids.

Winstead got his sentence Tuesday after he pleaded guilty to child exploitation.

Grindr is geared for homosexual dating. The deputy who posed as a 15-year-old boy was actually a grown woman.

Clifton Kelly is also charged in the sting. His court hearing is in June. John Warren is already serving a similar sentence in the case.
