MERIDIAN, Miss. – Two children were hurt while playing with a flare gun.
Meridian police said the shooting happened Tuesday night and both were rushed to hospitals. One child, a 13-year-old, suffered severe burns and was brought to Jackson for treatment. None of their injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
