Here’s a quick rundown of the weather for your Labor Day across Mississippi today.

In north Mississippi, expect sunny isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs will be in the lower 90s and tonight there will be mostly clear skies with lows in the lower 70s.

In central Mississippi, mostly sunny with some scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms during the day. Highs will climb into the low 90s and the highest heat index readings will range from 100 to 103. At night, partly cloudy skies with some isolated showers and thunderstorms in the evening. Lows will dip down into the lower 70s.

In south Mississippi, partly sunny skies with more scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Highs in the upper 80s today with mostly cloudy skies in the evening, then becoming partly cloudy. More scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are likely in the evening and lows will drop off into the lower 70s.
