A Little Cooler and Not as Sticky Today

JACKSON, Miss.–With highs still around 70, even after a cold front passed through the state Sunday night, it was not as sticky Monday morning, meaning humidity was lower.

The state was not expected to see a big cool down for the week, though highs could dip into the upper 50s for the north part of the state for Tuesday.

There was another chance of showers expected mid-week and then another chance Saturday. Still, there were no major drops in temperature expected with either of those weather systems.

Highs were expected in the upper 60s and low 70s for most of the week and into the weekend.
