AMITE COUNTY, Miss. – A man has been arrested after Gloster Police say he kidnapped a woman, fired shots at police officers, and stole a patrol car.
Dennis Morgan apparently broke into a woman’s home in McComb around 12:45 Thursday morning. Police say he kidnapped the woman and stole her SUV. According to the Enterprise Journal, the captured woman jumped from the vehicle in order to escape. Shortly after, she called police for help.
In Gloster, Moran ran out of gas. When police officers approached the car he stole, he fired shots at them and stole their patrol car. He wrecked the patrol car before being arrested in Louisiana.
So far there has been no word on any injuries.
