MCCOMB, Miss.- A mother’s worst nightmare happened over the weekend, when she had to watch her son be taken out by a hit-and-run driver. 33-year-old Justin Lander was standing on the shoulder of Highway 98 Friday night as his mom was backing her car out.
His mother said that the truck “threw his body into the road,” and she said she heard the truck run over his body, and that the truck kept on going and never stopped.
Dispatchers are looking for a four-door white, Nissan Titan pickup truck that was last seen traveling east on Highway 98.
