Man Leases Hunting Land He Did Not Own

SUNFLOWER COUNTY, Miss.–Some prime Delta hunting land was being used by three folks who did not know that really had no business there. That’s the result of fraud by 35-year-old Seth Bradshaw of Pigott, Ark., who got his sentence this week.

Atty. Gen. Jim Hood said Bradshaw leased land in Sunflower County to at least three people. The total he got for it was over $37,000.

He will now have to pay that back, in the amount of $638 per month, until it’s done. Bradshaw was also sentenced to five years, but will only serve five days of that and will pay $250 to the Crime Victims Compensation Fund.
