38-year-old Terry L. Magee, of Bassfield, pled guilty to threatening to bomb the Veterans Administration Nursing Home in Collins back in February.

According to U.S. Attorney Mike Hurst, Magee called the main phone line at the nursing home and told the person who answered the phone that he was going to blow the place up.

“These charges underscore the Veterans Affairs Office of Inspector General’s commitment to the safety of the Veteran Affairs’ patient population, as well as its employees, guests, and facilities,” said VA OIG Special Agent in Charge James Ross.

Magee will be sentenced in November, and he and faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.
