The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics Director John Dowdy is asking for the public’s help in locating a drug suspect who fled on foot while agents searched his Brookhaven home for drugs.

MBN agents executed a search warrant on July 3rd at 40-year-old Christopher Domonic Smith’s home and seized a half pound of high-grade marijuana along with 4 grams of crack cocaine.

Dowdy said Smith is wanted on charges brought about by a six-month investigation by the MBN along with the Brookhaven Police Department, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, and the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

Smith will face charges including possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and marijuana. Dowdy said other charges are possible after the suspect is found and the investigation continues. Anyone with information as to Smith’s whereabouts is asked to call the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics at 1-800-844-NARCX or their local Police/Sheriff’s Department.
