The MDOC is searching for an escaped inmate.
Noxubee County Community Work Center Inmate Kevin G. Rush is wanted after he did not return with his work crew from his assigned detail with the city of Macon on Wednesday afternoon.
Rush is described as an African-American man standing at 5’10 weighing close to 210 pounds.
The 37-year-old was sentenced back in November 2016 and is serving a 10-year sentence for residential and vehicle burglaries in Lowndes County.
