MEC’s 17th Annual Hobnob Mississippi is taking place Thursday, November 1 at the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson.

Attendees will hear from US Senate Candidates, Governor Phil Bryant, Lt. Governor Tate Reeves, Speaker of the House Philip Gunn, and other statewide elected officials. MEC will be honoring retiring United States Congressman Gregg Harper for his years of dedicated service to Mississippi in the United States House of Representatives.

The day starts with registration at 8:30 a.m. The program will kick off at 9:30 a.m. and Hobnob’s famous lunch buffet featuring Mississippi-raised fried catfish, bar-b-que chicken, and all the fixings will be served at 12:30 p.m.

“Hobnob has a great deal of interest as a result of the two U.S. Senate races this year,” said Scott Waller, MEC President & CEO. “Hobnob provides a great opportunity to hear from all candidates less than a week before the elections.”

Waller encouraged everyone to follow along with the fun of Hobnob on Twitter- tweet @MECStateChamber about #hobnobms.
