MOSS POINT- The two men who were on camera torturing a cat have been sentenced to jail time.
Laderrick and Larry Rostchild went before a judge on Tuesday to receive their sentencing.
Laderrick was sentenced to six months in jail and 200 hours of community service with a $2,500 fine and restitution.
Larry was sentenced to only 30 days in jail and five months of probation. He will also be required to pay $1,000 in fines and perform 200 hours of community service.
The two posted a Snapchat video of them torturing a cat. They were seen throwing hot liquid on the cat while it was trapped in a cage. You can see and hear the two men laughing in the background.
Laderrick’s girlfriend has also been charged. Karmen Coleman, is accused of filming the abuse video. She has plead not guilty to rendering criminal assistance.
