MERIDIAN, MISS– Memorial services are being held Tuesday and Wednesday in honor of firefighter Eric Gustafson, who was killed Friday when the fire truck crashed.
A memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, with burial scheduled for Wednesday in Metairie, Louisiana. Gustafson was a New Orleans native.
Two other firefighters were injured in that same wreck. Capt. Jeff Stuart is recovering in a Jackson hospital, and firefighter David Carney is recovering in a Meridian hospital, said fire officials.
