MARION DRUG BUST
Black tar heroin, you may have never heard of it, but it’s coming in to your state. In Marion County, six people were arrested trying to sell that smack and some high-grade marijuana. The bust happened late last week at a house in Columbia, says Sheriff Berkley Hall. He said his deputies also got cash and guns and it was near a school.

HEART ATTACK AT THE WHEEL
A heart attack behind the wheel. That’s how Jim Murphy died this weekend in Meridian. Murphy was 89. He was on Hwy. 19 south and had pulled over while he was having the heart attack Saturday morning. He let his foot off the brake and his car went out into traffic. That’s when another car hit his and he was killed. The people in the other car weren’t hurt bad.

RUNNING FROM COPS, DROWNS
He ran from the cops, and it cost this guy his life…

DEATH OF A TWO MONTH OLD
The death of a two-month old baby in the capital city. Happened Sunday just before church and police aren’t saying much about it, except they are looking into it.

DOLLAR TREE BUYS FAMILY DOLLAR
You’ve heard Family Dollar was going through some rough times with money. Now Dollar Tree is buying Family Dollar. The company says you probably won’t see much change in the way your Family Dollar looks.
