MISSING MAN FOUND

He had been missing since Saturday in Jasper County and Thursday night about 7, his body was found, in his truck. It looks like he ran off the road on Hwy. 11, near Vossburg, and was in the woods. What killed him, that’s why an autopsy is being done at the state crime lab.

OFFICER HIT WITH BLUNT OBJECT
Whacked in the back of the noggin with a big marble ball. That’s what happened to a cop when he showed up where a domestic fight was happening Thursday. Officer cut on his head, bandaged up. Man arrested.

NEW VA FACILITIES
27 new VA facilities as part of the package passed in DC yesterday. Sen. Roger Wicker says Mississippi’s vets will mostly benefit from more money for treatment at non VA places.

OMEGA EXPLOSION
The explosion at Omega Protein in Moss Point that killed a man from Mobile. OSHA is now at the plant, finding out what went wrong.

GAS
