U. S. News & World Report named Mississippi Valley State University (MVSU)  as one of America’s best in the southern region. Located in Itta Bena, Mississippi works with students from all walks of life and areas of the state and beyond to reach their college dreams.

Mississippi Valley State University hosted its 22nd celebration of the Women in Science and Technology (WIST) Conference. On campus, the WIST Organization is a student-led organization, comprised of undergraduate female students majoring in STEM disciplines, designed to promote women in science and technology. These students are committed and devoted to making a difference in the scientific community.

Dr. Earlean M. Anderson, Ph.D., Director of Academic Support for STEM, joined Rebecca Turner on Good Things and shared what makes MVSU the best kept university secret of the Mississippi Delta.
