Mississippi HOF Grows by Six with Favre Lighting Up 2015 Class

JACKSON, Miss. — Brett Favre is among six people selected to the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2015.  The three time NFL MVP from Klin played college football at Southern Miss before starting his 19 year NFL career and retiring as the all-time leader in passing yardage and touchdown passes.

The HOF inductees will also include: former Southern Miss basketball star and NBA standout Clarence Weatherspoon; former New Orleans Saints running back Fred McAfee who played at Mississippi College; Mississippi coaching greats Steve Knight and Gwen White; and former Ole Miss running back and all-SEC tailback Mike Dennis.

The induction ceremony will be August 1, 2015.
