Sam Haskell, Mississippi native and former Executive Vice President of William Morris Agency has just received an Emmy nomination alongside Dolly Parton for the made for TV movie, Dolly Parton’s Christmas Of Many Colors: Circle Of Love.

“I am just absolutely thrilled that they love Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors,” said Haskell.

He continued.

“It was a labor of love,” said Haskell. “We were actually shooting it in Georgia in 105 degree heat a year ago and now we are nominated for an Emmy for best movie of the year.”

Haskell, who has worked in Hollywood for nearly three decades, says this is his first Emmy nomination.

“I was behind the camera all those years as an agent, and now that I am a producer, I am eligible to be nominated for an Emmy,” said Haskell. “The movie deserves it and this one certainly did. We are one of the top five movies of the year and Dolly and I are going to the Emmy’s.”
