The Pearl woman accused of mishandling tens of thousands of dollars intended for the Brandon High School Band booster program has pled guilty to committing the crime.
42-year-old Donna Gladney Floyd had previously been indicted for embezzling more than $45,000 intended for the high school band. She was arrested in connection to the reported theft last May.
According to investigators, the case was first brought to their attention by the Rankin County School District and Brandon High School officials.
Floyd is scheduled to be sentenced on Tuesday, April 30.
