RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. – A Rankin County teenager is dead following a car crash that happened this Independence Day.
Clinton Cole Kirby, 18, was riding along in a Jeep, with three other passengers, when the driver lost control and flipped the car around 5 p.m. Monday on Fannin Landing Circle.
Kirby was pronounced dead at the scene. The three other passengers were ejected and all had to be taken to UMMC. One of the three had to be airlifted.
