ITTA BENA, Miss. — Mississippi Valley State has chosen Rick Comegy to be their new head football coach. Comegy was the former coach for the school’s rival, Jackson State, but was fired back in December.
Comegy Has been coaching football since 1975 and replaces Karl Morgan at Valley, whose contract was not renewed after a 4 season record of 8-35. Comegy signed a four year contract with Valley.
