Here’s what you can look forward to this weekend across the state.

It’s a weekend all about our Veterans and there are plenty of chances to celebrate them. In Washington County they’re throwing the Bicentennial Veterans’ dinner at the convention center. It’s free and will host author Walt Grayson who will be speaking. Don’t miss out, come celebrate the states 200th birthday and honor our vets.

The Downtown Art Walk and Holiday Open House is happening in Hattiesburg. It runs till 7:00 p.m. on Saturday night and will feature something for everyone. There will be musicians, paintings, photography, demonstrations, and even a place for kids to paint pottery. Feel free to bring the family and grab about while discovering downtown

It’s almost Christmas time and that means 50 Nights of Lights is kicking off this weekend. It lasts through December 31 in the historic downtown walking trail of Cleveland. The area will be transformed into a winter wonderland complete with animated decorations and a 50 foot light display. If you love Christmas lights this is the place for you.
