Mississippi’s “Pretty Boy Floyd” Not So Pretty, and Never Free Again

BILOXI, Miss.–Trouble that started January 2014 at the Maison D’Orleans Apartments in Biloxi, ended with two men dead, beaten with a glass ash tray and a hammer. Now Mississippi’s “Pretty Boy Floyd” has gotten two life sentences for their killings.

Prosecutors said Carmen Dale Edwards was beaten with the ash tray, which Michael Wilson (he’s the Pretty Boy Floyd) threw into Biloxi’s Back Bay.

Kenneth Gibson was beaten with a hammer and died three weeks later.

DNA evidence was gathered by police. Prosecutors said Wilson stole Gibson’s truck and was spotted driving it in Louisiana the day after Gibson’s beating.

Wilson pled guilty this week to both murders and got consecutive life sentences.
