Monday weather rundown 6-5-17: More rain + thunderstorms

North Mississippi waking up after a night full of rain and thunder: you can expect more of the same all day today. When it’s not raining, expect oppressive humidity marking your Monday. Today’s high ticking into the lower 80s. Showers and scattered thunder will return tonight, lasting well into Tuesday morning.

Central Mississippi looking at the same story: overnight thunderstorms leaving a muggy Monday morning with temperatures in the 70s. Grab your umbrella, cause you’re in for scattered rain and thunder thruout your day. Expect more rain to return for your overnight and into your Tuesday as well. Tomorrow will see rain off and on with a high peaking near 80.

South Mississippi not feeling left out: rolling thunder and rain will mark your Monday as well. Your high today reaching the lower 80s with high humidity between downpours. Showers return tonight and will last clear thru the evening and into tomorrow morning. Tuesday looks to be a gully-washer as another stout system rolls in from the west.
