Wednesday weather rundown

A FREEZE for north Mississippi: expect temperatures to move through the 20s to reach a high in the upper 40s today. The good news is: you’ve got plenty of sunshine today. Tonight’s low falling to the mid 20s again, so keep that in mind. Don’t look for things to stay this cold for long, though: tomorrow you’re in for a high in the low-50s, low around 40, but Friday expect a high near 70.

Central Mississippi feeling a touch of frost this morning: temperatures in the mid-30s as you work toward a brisk high in the low 50s. Plenty of sunshine for you, though expect to keep the plants covered tonight: your low will return to the mid-30s. You’re in for a warm weekend: highs in the 70s.

South Mississippi, you’re waking up with temperatures in the upper-30s, with sunshine and a high in the upper 50s marking your Wednesday. Tonight, however, you’re going to see lows dipping into the mid-to-lower 30s, right around the freezing mark. Thursday bouncing to a high in the mid-60s, low in the mid-40s. Look for a weekend with highs in the 70s.
