Most of the State Drier Today, Temps on the Move Later

JACKSON, Miss.–Drier air will dominate the weather in Mississippi today, according to National Weather Service forecasts. Highs will still hover right around the 90 degree mark.

The best chance for rain, in the form of an afternoon shower or storm, will be in south Mississippi and on the coast. That’s a 30 percent chance.

There’s a slight risk everywhere else.

By Wednesday and Thursday rain chances are on the increase again and temps will be, too, with highs getting back up into the mid 90s.
