A teen was accused of stabbing his mother in Copiah County.
Investigator Sharon Kelly with the Copiah County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that the stab wounds were non life threatening.
The 13-year-old is accused of stabbing his mother in an apartment complex in Hazelhurst.
Deputies could not confirm a motive for the stabbing at this time, but say that the mother is recovering.
Officials are conducting an investigation.
