Miss. Man Claims He was Beaten Over Treyvon Trial

SENATOBIA, Miss. – “Do you know who Treyvon Martin is?” A north Mississippi man said that is what he was asked before three men beat him Sunday.

“After they asked him that, they assaulted him,” said Police Chief Steve Holts.

According to Holts, Devin Dickey was jogging Sunday on Highway 51 North when three black males drove beside him and told him to get in their car. At first Dickey refused but eventually got in the car.

Police found Dickey around 11pm that day after he was dropped off about three miles north of Senatobia. Afterwards, he was taken to the hospital for treatment, but had no life threatening injuries.

Police are now on the lookout for the three black males involved. The car they were driving is believed to be a white Chevy Malibu or Impala. If you have info call the police or crime stoppers.
