MSU Police Chief Facing DUI Charge/ Resigns

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Mississippi State University Campus Police Chief Georgia Lindley has resigned after being arrested for DUI.

Starkville police confirm she was picked up Thursday afternoon. No other details have not been made public.

Investigators are also looking into allegations that Lindley recently left the scene of a finder-bender in the parking lot of a Starkville church.  Her husband is the Chief of Police in Starkville and he says she didn’t realize she hit the car’s bumper.  Chief David Lindley has said he will retire from his job at the end of this year.
