Not Much Love Outside the Club: At Least Three Nightclub Deaths This Weekend

TUNICA, Miss.–The Nickson Disco is where Anthony Vaughan was shot and killed Friday night. He was shot just outside the club after a fight broke out, according to police.

WMC-TV in Memphis reported a second person was also hit as the bullets started flying. He was a teenager. Vaughan was a soon-to-be dad.

No one has been charged with his murder, although police had questioned two people Saturday.

Another night club shooting left Demarcus Lacy dead in Tchula about 1:30 Sunday morning. That’s in Holmes County.

Lacy was shot in the head outside Mr. T’s, according to Sheriff Willie March.

Deputies were interviewing people Sunday, but no arrests yet.

In Vicksburg, Michael “Tiger” Robinson was shot dead at the American Legion Post 3Saturday night, just before midnight. Police had not arrested anybody in that killing, either, which happened just down the street from the police department, according to WLBT.

Two other people were also hit by the bullets when the shots rang out. One was shot in the back.
