JACKSON, Miss. – It was announced Thursday, Elvis Presley will be honored with a new Forever Stamp.
The stamp will be available for purchase August 12 and features a black and white photo of the Mississippi native taken back in 1955.
Along with the new stamps, the USPS will release a commemorative CD featuring 18 of Elvis’s greatest hits.
This isn’t the first time the King has been placed on a stamp. In 1993 Elvis appeared on what become the mos popular U.S. commemorative stamp of all time..
