JACKSON, Miss. – Furniture manufacturer Newport Home Furnishings has announced plans to expand, creating 45 new jobs in New Albany.
“The state’s furniture manufactures are key players in north Mississippi’s economy; and I appreciate the team at Newport Home Furnishings for further strengthening its roots in New Albany and creating new jobs,” said Gov. Phil Bryant.
The project represents a corporate investment of $270,000.
Newport Home Furnishings, which opened its’ doors in Mississippi in 2013, makes stationary and motion sofas, loveseats, chairs and recliners.
