Officers looking for men who opened fire on teenager

The Jackson Police Department is looking for two men accused of shooting a 13-year-old boy. 

The incident happened just after 5:00 p.m. on Arbor Hills Drive near Crestwood. Police said a 13-year-old boy was shot after two black men opened fire. The victim was shot in the back and taken to another location before being transported to the hospital.

He is listed in stable condition and is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police are asking that anyone with any information about this incident please contact the JPD.
