Oxford Man to Prison for Online Threats

OXFORD, Miss. — The Oxford man, who threatened to use guns, Molotov cocktails and pipe bombs to attack his old high school, is going to jail.

Joshua Brandon Pillault, 21, has been sentenced to 72 months in prison.  Prosecutors say he made the threats against Oxford High School in 2012 while in the chat room of the online game “Runescape.”

He pleaded guilty last year to one count of communicating a threat.
