Yesterday morning a Pearl Police Interdiction officer stopped a man who had approximately 20 pounds of high grade marijuana in his vehicle.
Tavoris Jarmelle Jernigan was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
He was booked into the Rankin County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
