IUKA, Miss.–A small plane went down on a county road near Iuka, Sunday afternoon. There were two people on the plane, but the Highway Patrol says nobody was hurt badly.
The plane left the Iuka airport around 3:30 Sunday afternoon. Shortly after, the pilot tried to return to the airport. It was just minutes later that the plane was in the middle of County Rd. 191.
It was unclear exactly what happened to make the pilot turn around.
