Louisiana authorities believe that a missing man’s body has been found in Mississippi.

The Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office stated that a body was found this morning in a field off of Highway 16 in Yazoo County, and they believe it to be 32-year-old Shawn “Corey” King of Benton, Louisiana.

King went missing back on August 3rd, and Bossier Sheriff’s Office detectives traveled to Mississippi this morning to assist with the investigation after King’s truck was found wrecked and abandoned on Highway 16.
