Prostitution in Mississippi: Arrests Made at Truck Stop in New Albany Include Women and a Truck Driver

NEW ALBANY, Miss.–At least two women who may have been practicing the world’s oldest profession were stopped by New Albany police when they brought their trade to the local Pilot. Police also found drug paraphernalia.

It happened Saturday night, reported WCBI. Chief Chris Robertson told the TV station that the clerk at the truck stop called police when three women pulled up and were acting suspicious.

When the police got there, there were two women in a car and a third was just leaving a big rig and coming back to the car. All three women and the truck driver were questioned. Three out of the four ended up in cuffs.

Robertson said one of the women solicited the truck driver for sex. Eugene Daniel McGee of Denver, Co. was charged with solicitation, as was Regina Britton of Byhalia.

One of the women in the car, Georgia Raimey of Lamer, was charged with possession of pot and paraphenalia, and the third woman was let loose with no charges.
